Nina Mantione

Nina Mantione, VMD

Veterinarian

Dr. Nina Mantione, one of our co-medical directors, grew up in Mechanicsburg and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1987. She attended Franklin and Marshall College, where she earned a degree in studio art. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and then stayed at UPenn and completed a one-year medicine and surgical internship. After working in private practice in Philadelphia for 6 years, she returned to this area to join Good Hope Animal Hospital in 2001. Dr. Mantione is certified in Fear Free and Canine Geriatric Medicine. A mom to 4 adult children, she lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband, three dogs, three cats, and a bunch of chickens. A lifelong equestrian, she is a dressage rider. She is also an artist who teaches drawing at the local Art Center. In addition to making art and riding horses, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and gardening.

Sara Michler

Sara Michler, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Sara Michler, DVM, is a veterinarian with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine. She started working at Good Hope Animal Hospital in January 2008 as a full-time veterinarian and became co-medical director in 2022.

In 2025, she furthered her qualifications by becoming a Cat Friendly Veterinarian® and obtained the NAVC Human Animal Bond certification. Dr. Michler’s areas of special interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, and pain management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cats, traveling, and supporting her children’s activities.

Alesha Glass

Alesha Glass, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Alesha Glass is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and geriatric medicine, and is particularly passionate about improving quality of life for her patients through thoughtful care and effective pain management.

Born near Williamsport, home of the Little League World Series, Dr. Glass enjoys swimming, cooking, hand-knitting, exploring the outdoors, attending country music concerts, and spending time with family, friends, and her rescue pup, Nala.

Samantha Kelley, DVM

Samantha Kelley, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kelley grew up in New Hampshire and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Hampshire. She then went on to the University of Missouri, where she graduated with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kelley has been at Good Hope Animal Hospital since the start of her career. She enjoys caring for her patients and their owners as she gets the privilege of being part of their stories.

Dr. Kelley has a passion for client education, dentistry, allergy management, nutrition, and preventive medicine. She has a soft spot for cats, especially when they come into the office in fun carriers or on a leash.

Dr. Kelley’s current herd includes her husband, son, the sweetest cat Snickers, and a crazy rescue Pitbull named Nova.

Outside of work, Dr. Kelley enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, playing Pokemon and board games, and spending time in God’s creation, no matter the season.

Relief Veterinarian

Dr. Weekes now serves as a relief veterinarian, and we are grateful to continue working alongside him. He regularly joins us one day a week for surgery, where his advanced surgical skills and collaborative mindset are a tremendous asset to our team and patients.

Deb DeMott

Practice Manager

Deb has been employed at GHAH since 2013 and has worked here as a Vet Assistant/Tech, Boarding Supervisor, Technical Staff Supervisor, Front Office Supervisor, and Practice Manager. In 2009, she officially entered veterinary medicine as a 2nd career and never looked back! She has found her true calling in this occupation and found a “forever home” at GHAH because she thrives in the culture of integrity and high standards that have always been a part of GHAH. Deb seeks to pass along calm and comfort to our animal patients and human clients at every opportunity and prides herself on understanding the many languages in which the pets speak to us!

Deb has 2 wonderful human children that fill her heart with pride and joy and, of course, a dog, cat, and some chickens just for fun. When Deb is not at the hospital, she is very likely spending time with her beau, Todd, or visiting one of her many pet-sitting charges.

Perhaps you will see her zooming through the lobby or speak to her on the phone at some point- she would love to help in any way she can!

Christina

Christina, CVT, FFCP

Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor and Trainer

Christina is our Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor and Trainer. She has been a member of the Good Hope Animal Hospital team since 2013 and earned her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential in 2023. She is also Fear Free Certified (FFCP).
Christina is widely recognized for her advanced skills in phlebotomy and blood collection.

In her leadership role, Christina is especially passionate about mentoring technicians and training new team members, helping them develop strong clinical skills while fostering the collaborative and supportive culture that defines Good Hope Animal Hospital.

Outside of the hospital, Christina enjoys skiing and cooking. She also loves spending time with her husband Seth, their daughter Veronica, and their Brittany Spaniel, Archibella, at the lake!

Kristen, CVT, FFCP

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kristen has been part of our hospital family since 2006, bringing unmatched knowledge in anesthesia and pain management. She’s currently pursuing her VTS in Clinical Practice, showing her ongoing dedication to excellence. Her mentorship, leadership, and experience continue to elevate our entire team.

Jenna

Rhonda, CVT, FFCP

Certified Veterinary Technician

Rhonda has been a member of the Good Hope family since 2016, when she started as an intern from YTI. She graduated and later passed her VTNE in 2022 to become a licensed technician. She has since received her Fear Free Certification and has her Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional certificate as well. Rhonda has found her true calling in comforting anxious and excited pets through storytelling and nursery rhyme singing. Rhonda has many cats and a silly silver lab, Emmie. She enjoys going to concerts with friends or walking the local trails with her family.

Ashlee

Ashlee, CVT

Certified Veterinary Technician

Ashlee has been a key member of the Good Hope team since 2014. She graduated from Wilson College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medical Technology & a minor in History. She then went on to achieve her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential in September 2014. As Good Hope’s inventory coordinator, she has a special talent for knowing exactly where everything is — or at least who last had it. She finds joy in client education and exotic animal medicine, sharing her knowledge with owners and helping them better understand their pets. Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys getting lost in a good book and attending live concert events with coworkers who have become close friends.

Amy has been sharing her expertise since 2019, specializing in exotic animal anesthesia. Her calm, confident approach brings reassurance to both colleagues and clients, and her passion for unique species enriches our hospital’s capabilities.

Jenny

Jenny, CVT, FFCP

Certified Veterinary Technician

Jenny Daughtry has been a valued member of the team at Good Hope Animal Hospital since 2021. In 2022, she earned her certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), further strengthening her ability to provide compassionate and skilled care to the animals she loves working with every day.

Jenny especially enjoys working with senior cats—those wise, experienced feline patients who may need a little extra patience and understanding. Helping these cats feel safe and cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.

Outside of the clinic, Jenny loves spending time with her husband, Robert, and their daughter, Danielle. Their family is also growing—she and Robert are excitedly expecting a baby boy later this year. At home, Jenny enjoys relaxing with her senior cat, Mace, who holds a special place in her heart.

When she’s not at work, Jenny enjoys hiking and spending time in the great outdoors.

Veterinary Technician

Abby joined Good Hope Animal Hospital in 2015 as a kennel technician and worked her way up to veterinary technician. She became a vet tech to be a voice for animals who can’t speak for themselves and is passionate about providing compassionate, attentive patient care. Abby is known around the hospital for her well-timed sarcasm and her mission to make sure all her coworkers recycle. Her favorite breed is pit bulls because who doesn’t love a pitty smile and a big block head!?

When she’s not at the hospital, Abby enjoys spending time with friends, going to concerts, and adding to her growing collection of houseplants. She also works at an animal ER part-time, fulfilling her interests and passion for emergency medicine.

Veterinary Technician

Jenna has been a dedicated member of the Good Hope Animal Hospital team since November 2013. She is passionate about creating a calm, positive experience for every pet and building strong connections with clients. Jenna believes in providing compassionate, high-quality care to each animal she works with.

Outside of the hospital, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and children, whether camping, hiking, or cheering them on at their sporting events. At home, she cares for her two furry companions—Annie, a very active Irish Setter, and Brody, a laid-back lap cat.

Pam

Pam, FFCP

Veterinary Technician

Pam joined the veterinary profession in 2009 and began her journey with GHAH in September 2019 as a veterinary technician. She has worked in a variety of environments, including ER work. Pam enjoys expanding her knowledge in the field and her area of interest in canine osteoarthritis, and helping alleviate the pain and discomfort associated with this chronic disease. Pam became a fear-free certified personnel in March 2025.

In her spare time, Pam teaches puppy class at a local dog school and enjoys training with her dogs. Currently, Pam has two Great Danes that she loves dearly. They compete and show in competition obedience, rally, agility, and tricks, and have achieved titles in these sports.

Marlaina

Veterinary Technician

Marlaina has been a veterinary technician at Good Hope Animal Hospital since 2022 and specializes in loving the patients everyone else calls “a little crusty.” Senior pets have a special place in her heart—the stinkier the better. Her interests include shelter medicine, venipuncture, geriatric care, and palliative care, with a focus on keeping older pets comfortable and supported.

At home, she is outnumbered by her five cats—Wordy, Oliver, Miss Poof, Baby Girl, and Ducky—who keep her veterinary skills in practice. She is also currently working toward her veterinary technology degree to continue expanding her knowledge and care for her patients.

Veterinary Technician

Maggie graduated with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Penn State University in 2017. Since then, her career has focused on the care of animals – both domestic and exotic! Maggie takes special interest in animal behavior, and she is working toward her Fear-Free Certification.

Maggie has been a veterinary technician at GHAH since 2024. She is also a zookeeper and a licensed falconer. In her free time, Maggie enjoys crafting, dancing, and spending time with her golden retriever, Tsuga.

Heidi

Heidi

Veterinary Technician

Started working in veterinary medicine in 2019 and have experience in both emergency and general practice. She hopes to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in the future. She joined the team at Good Hope in May 2025 and truly enjoys helping care for our patients and supporting their families.

At home, she’s the proud mom of four dogs, three cats, and a leopard gecko named Betty White — all rescues! When not at the clinic, she loves spending time with her family, trips to camp and getting together for family gatherings. She is also a huge Atlanta Braves fan!

She can’t wait to meet you and your fur children!

Front Office Supervisor

Doreen has been a dedicated member of Good Hope Animal Hospital since 2005, bringing a deep passion for animal care and a strong commitment to team success. She spent 17 years working as a veterinary technician and inventory manager, where she developed hands-on clinical expertise and a keen eye for organization and efficiency. Today, she serves as Front Office Supervisor, where she focuses on creating a welcoming environment for clients while ensuring smooth daily operations. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and attending the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. She shares her home with three cats—Sushi, Sansa, and Ricky Bobby—and a Corgi named Liza, who continues to inspire her love for animals every day.

April came to Good Hope Animal Hospital in 2018. After working 18 years in the fine jewelry industry, she decided to work in a field involving her other passion, animals. She brings her years of customer service experience to her client interactions at the front desk. April is known for her positive attitude and always making the staff laugh. She is a self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady” and has one very spoiled, high-maintenance cat at home. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and friends, watching movies and cartoons, and crafting.

Client Service Representative/Surgery Scheduler

Zoe has been a valued member of the Good Hope Animal Hospital since 2018. Zoe works as the surgery scheduler and part of the front office staff. Her days often revolve around coordinating procedures, supporting the doctors, and making sure pets receive the care they need as smoothly as possible. Outside of work, her world centers around her own dog, Kenny Chubbs the Basset Hound, whose long ears, stubborn charm, and lovable personality make him the star of her home. Caring for animals both professionally and personally reflects her passion for helping pets live happy, healthy lives.

Mariah has been a valued member of the Good Hope Animal Hospital team for two years during her current time with the practice. She first joined Good Hope in 2019 and worked with the team until 2021 before pursuing other opportunities, eventually finding her way back in 2023. She is happy to be back doing what she loves and working alongside a team that shares her passion for animal care.

In her free time, Mariah enjoys spending time with friends or relaxing at home with her pets while getting lost in a good book.

As the wife of a Navy officer, she embraces constant change with adaptability and optimism, finding home wherever life takes her. Passionate about the outdoors, Audrey spends her time hiking scenic trails, seeking new adventures, and body surfing in the ocean whenever she can. Her love for exploration is matched by her affection for her orange cat, Indie, who remains her cherished companion and constant across every new chapter.
